The author, Clifton C. “Cliff” Phillips, Ed.S., has had  a career  in  education from teacher, administrator, and professor, from  kindergarten  through graduate school.

Phillips has written the following children's picture books: WATERWORLD WONDERWAYS; TEN SPUNKY MONKEYS; HEY BENNY BROWN; HOW ABOUT ME? I LIKE THAT TOO; and RABBITS RULE at NIGHT SCHOOL.  He has also authored books for juveniles, MURRAY CHRISTMAS: the Boss Reindeer.

Educational books have been: THE AMERICAN NURSING SHORTAGE: Health Care Scare and ONLINE ART EDUCATION-ACCREDITED DEGREE PROGRAMS. All of the previous books have been published by www.avidreaderspg.com.

Previously, Phillips had published a juvenile book called "CHUPACABRA, YOU DON'T SCARE ME!" with Dorrance Publishing Company, Inc.
